about me

I first encountered Gestalt therapy as a client. In therapy, I discovered a new sense of support in being seen for who I truly am. That experience inspired me to offer others the same kind of presence and care that had been so meaningful in my own journey. I took the leap into a second career in psychotherapy, and in 2022 graduated from the Gestalt Institute of Toronto's Five Year Training Program in Gestalt Psychotherapy.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in the finance and healthcare sectors. Alongside this, I pursued formal training in yoga and meditation, practices that have grounded me in my own embodied process and which continue to support my personal and professional growth.

Outside of my work, I find joy in hiking, photography, and spending time with my family. Most recently, new motherhood and my process of matrescence have become powerful teachers, deepening my understanding of presence, care, and resilience.

My own ongoing personal work and involvement in Gestalt communities continue to bring a sense of aliveness and curiosity to how I engage with the world.
I consider myself a lifelong student, and am committed to my continued evolution as a therapist, parent, and community member.

As a Registered Psychotherapist, I'm a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario ("CRPO") and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy ("CAPT").

I abide by the CRPO's registrant requirements, practice standards, and Code of Ethics.

Martin Buber

I am of settler ancestry, living and working in Tkaronto/Toronto.

Tkaronto/Toronto is located on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, the Wendat, and the Haudenosaunee.  It is within the lands protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peaceably share and care for the Great Lakes region and its resources.

Today, Tkaronto/Toronto is home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples from across Turtle Island.

I hold gratitude for the land that sustains us and

aim to nurture relationships rooted in respect, reciprocity, and care.
